Adrenal fatigue

Adrenal fatigue is basically the malfunctioning of very important adrenal glands in your body. If you are having stressful days, your body needs constant coffee, colas, and other such sorts of things, and if you feel tired without any work, then you have this adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue is basically caused due to the increased emotional and physical stress. The effect of adrenal fatigue may range from allergies to obesity, but it is very strange that people do not pay much attention to this problem. However, when the problem increases beyond control, they have to go to the physician. But it is always better to control the ailment in its starting!





Causes of Adrenal Fatigue

As it is already stated that Adrenal fatigue is usually caused by some form of stress, whether it is severe or mild. There are many causes for these stresses, as emotional, physical, psychological, environmental issues combine to cause that effect. The capacity of each and every person to combat the stress is different, and so all these sources of stress can independently or in combined form can cause the adrenal fatigue. The reason of these stresses may vary from a sore marriage, death of a loved one, too much physical exertion, a vehicle accident or too much work at your job.

Diet regulations for adrenal fatigue

Physicians do not put any hard and fast restriction over the diet of the persons suffering from adrenal fatigue, but they do suggest some particular diet:

  • If your adrenal glands are dysfunctional, you should eat good quantity of salt.
  • If this problem is with an infant, they may also need some dose of sodium chloride.
  • If you are gaining weight, then you should monitor your caloric intake, as it may also cause adrenal fatigue.
