Transfats zapped - now what?

Reply Quote

Guess most of you would have heard by now that transfats is really getting a beating all over... I do not know if you are like me, wondering what you should use instead.  Well, I saw on www.palmoiltruthfoundation.com that palm oil is high on the list as a natural substitute, given its healthy properties -  being rich in antioxidants, tocotrienols, co-enzyme Q10 and other helpful vitamins.  Palm oil has been presented as being great for frying, since it has a neutral taste and even prevents arteriole scelorosis!  Apparently, it also helps to boost our HDL (good cholesterol).  What are your thoughts on this?
