Ectopic Pregnancy

Reply Quote

Hello,

I'm worried that I may have an ectopic pregnancy.  I'm feeling one-sided pain, having bladder problems, and some abnormal bleeding.  I do not have the money to go to the doctor.  Does anyone have any good advice for me?

Jan

Jan,

You should most definately see a doctor.  You have some of the most common signs of an ectopic pregnancy.

Most hospitals have experts who can perform treatment surgery using keyhole techniques, and many are able to use medical treatment (methotrexate) in special circumstances to conserve precious tubal or uterine function.

Most hospitals have plans to cover individuals that can not afford the treatment, especially if the condition is life threatening.

Call your family planning center and see what they suggest.  Ectopic pregnancies can be deadly.  You MUST see a doctor immediately.
