Hey,
I was recently put on the nuva ring, after I had an ovary removed last spring. Now, I haven't done much research on the side effects of my surgery or even on my birth control. I'm 21 and stupid ... what can I say! Well my problem is I'm having mood swings like crazy! I dread my period... I go from happy, to sad, to mad, to extremly angry to happy again! I'm literally scared of my period and the mood swings that come with it! I'm also having hot flashes and headaches like crazy, I also cannot get enough sleep ... no matter how hard I try, I have to force myself out of bed, even after a good 8 hours of sleep! Now, I plan on going to the doctor but I want to know if any of you have these same problems... or am I alone on the this Crazy Woman Desert Island! I honestly feel like a prisoner in my own body with these new found emotions and I love the nuva ring because I used to be so careless with the pill birth control! Maybe, I'm being overly dramatic ... I mean ... I am pmsing! Anyhow, any advice, comment or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
