  • Try eating plain crackers or dry cereal before you get out of bed in the morning. It is always advisable to avoid greasy or spicy foods as they often cause nausea or heartburn.
  • Try to eat smaller meals every two hours or so.
  • Do not drink fluids with your meals. Drink the water after the meal.
  • Non-caffeine teas like peppermint and ginger can help calm nausea. Subsequently, drinking any type of caffeine could contribute to the feeling of morning sickness.
  • Drink small amounts of fluids regularly though out the day to avoid dehydration. This is very important factor to keep your body and baby fit.
